Elizabeth Cramer, LPC
Elizabeth’s clinical psychotherapy work began in 2008 and has included residential, AODA, partial hospitalization and outpatient treatment. She has worked with a variety of populations including Native American tribes, adolescents, couples and families. In addition to clinical sessions, she collaborates with businesses and organizations to reduce workplace stress and is passionate about sharing mental health through her workshops and keynote speeches.
Elizabeth holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree (Educational Psychology - Multicultural Counseling) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as certifications in hypnotherapy, trauma counseling and Neurolinguistics (NLP). She has studied at the Carl Jung Institute for Analytical Psychology and Psychotherapy in Kusnacht, Switzerland as well as the Meta Institute in Edina, Minnesota. In addition to her private practice and workshops, she has worked in mental health leadership and is the president-elect of Mental Health America Lakeshore as well as an adjunct professor of Counseling at Lakeland University and active member of the American Counseling Association. She is the Emmy-nominated host and producer of the series “How We Heal” on Milwaukee PBS, a segment focusing on mental health education, resources and real-life stories in the community.
Elizabeth started her career as a professional pianist and composer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, performing and teaching at her own private piano studio. A backpacking trip through Honduras and Guatemala began a life-long love for travel that lead to directing international tours in some of the world’s most beautiful locations and hosting her own travel productions on television. She has explored over 35 countries and continues to host international tours in partnership with LaMacchia Travel.
